Technical Program Manager

Archer Chapin

As a Technical Program Manager at Crane, Archer brings hands-on experience across engineering, supply chain, and early-stage operations. He has worked in both startup and global environments, with a focus on building systems that scale and solving complex technical challenges.

Most recently, he was a Global Supply Manager at Moxion Power, a company focused on designing an electric alternative to diesel generators where he joined as one of the first 15 employees and helped the company scale to over 400 employees. He led procurement efforts for key power system components, including battery cells, harnesses, and busbars, and secured over $200 million in long-term supply contracts while driving significant cost savings. He also supported Moxion’s first product launch as a mechanical engineer, managing the design of the battery disconnect unit (BDU) and wire harness routing for the unit.

Prior to Moxion, he worked at Flexport, where he managed freight logistics and helped design internal tools and onboarding programs. His earlier experience includes international consulting projects through Dartmouth’s Tuck School, where he worked on supply chain and business strategy challenges in Honduras and Japan, as well as operations and market analysis roles in the corporate housing and education sectors.

Archer holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Government from Dartmouth College. He is also a co-inventor on two patents.
