As Chief Engagement Officer at Crane, Connie leads engagement strategies that strengthen partnerships, enhance client and employee experiences, and drive meaningful community impact. She brings a collaborative, people-centered approach to her work, focusing on building strong relationships and supporting sustainable growth.
With more than 18 years of experience, Connie has helped scale leading technology companies including Google, Twitter, and Slack, bringing deep expertise in pre-IPO environments, organizational development, and cross-functional leadership. At Slack, she led complex engineering and growth initiatives that improved alignment, efficiency, and delivery at scale. She also oversaw quarterly planning for the company’s 100+ person Growth pillar and created programs that streamlined workflows, reduced engineering time, and increased project completion rates for the company's monetization team.
Earlier in her career, Connie supported global talent expansion into international markets, including Tokyo and Melbourne, and served as Recruiting Captain for Slack’s Veterans Employee Resource Group, leading outreach, events, and partnerships to support veteran hiring initiatives. She was also part of the team that helped launch Slalom Consulting’s San Francisco office, scaling from a team of five to more than 550 employees locally and 8,000 worldwide.
Connie is deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and serves on the Board of Directors for Old Skool Cafe, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing opportunities for youth. She holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Washington.
