Associate Technical Program Manager - Closed - Position filled

Bay Area/San Francisco, CA

As an Associate Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving efficiencies across various aspects of data center development. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry experts, gain exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects, and contribute to the growth of cutting-edge infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-functional program management
  • Assist in planning, tracking, and executing key initiatives across the company 
  • Support coordination between engineering, procurement, site selection, and internal operations to drive project execution
  • Manage project documentation, timelines, and reporting to maintain alignment across multiple teams
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks, proactively working with stakeholders to find solutions
  • Additional opportunities to support other functions depending on interest and company needs

Data Center Development & Site Selection

  • Assist in site selection efforts including research, due diligence, and working with the site selection team
  • Track permitting, entitlement processes, and compliance requirements to support development timelines
  • Collaborate with construction program managers to maintain progress reports, track key deliverables, and ensure construction milestones are met

Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Develop and refine process documentation, workflows, and reporting structures to improve project visibility and efficiency
  • Support the implementation of project management and other tools to streamline operations
  • Assist in compiling weekly/monthly project updates for leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 2-3+ years of experience in program management, procurement, construction, real estate, or a related field
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to track multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-first mindset
  • Highly organized, with a problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel, project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, or similar), and G Suite or Microsoft Office

Travel Requirements

Potential to travel up to 25-50% with flexibility to travel on short notice.
